Job Description: POSITION DESCRIPTION: Individual will receive, enter, and process telephone and web requests for Distribution work (e.g., new service, service upgrades, relocations) at PSNH; separate them by complexity and forward the requests to the appropriate department. Individual will be responsible for obtaining data relevant to the design and processing of the request and will serve as the single point of contact and advocate for customers and contractors with respect to requests for service. Individual will also be responsible for processing electrical inspections, prepayments, and contributions from customers. Individual will be responsible for providing cost estimates for new services and changes to existing services for residential and commercial customers. Individual will receive and respond to inquiries from customers and contractors relative to both job design and construction. Individual must possess and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) with customers both internal and external to NU. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: An Associate's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or the equivalent in combined education and experience, plus four years of related electric distribution experience is required for the 'A level. An Associate's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or the equivalent in combined education and experience, plus two years of related electric distribution experience is required for the B level. A High School diploma plus four years of related electric distribution experience, or an Associate's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related technical degree is required for the C level. Utility/line or electrical contractor experience is preferred. Will have storm restoration and emergency duty assignments. Applicants may be required to successfully pass the Technician aptitude test. Qualified candidates must submit a resume with their application.
