Primary Function: Weld Metal objects together via gas, MIG, TIG, and arc welder.

Responsibilities:
Measure parts for proper fit
Stamp part numbers prior to weld completion
Layout and fit all items to be joined
Prepare weld joints
Join parts via various weld methods
Grind and finish all welds
Maintain equipment used
Form materials to size and shape
Work safely and use proper safety equipment

Power Shear
Line Burner
Brake Press
Welding Machine
Miscellaneous Hand Tools
Drill Press
Grinder
Saw
Various Oxy/Fuel-Gas Equipment
Crane
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or General Education Degree with 3 years of experience or Associate Degree or Welding Certification with 1 Year of relevant experience
Knowledge of shop mathematics
Good hand/eye coordination
Able to read and follow blue prints
Physical Requirements:
Position is located in a manufacturing environment, and will involve hands-on work with tools and equipment. Physical activity will include lifting (up to 75lbs.), bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
