Job Details:
Minimum 1 year experience preferred

Under general supervision of the Director, Patient & Guest relations, provides guests with a warm welcome upon arrival at the hospital. Provides training and guidance to greeters and welcome desk volunteers and promotes escort protocol for all guests assuring they are appropriately escorted to their destination within the medical center. Primary focus is to provide a positive experience through a friendly welcoming environment.
Qualifications:

Associates Degree

1 year experience preferred

Valid Maine Driver's License preferred
Other Special Skills -Preferred

Ability to interact with a diverse population to create a welcoming environment.

Must possess the ability to clearly and effectively converse with guests.

Comfortable with utilizing the computer as a communications tool

Ability to use good judgment and set priorities.

Demonstrated ability to add personal touch.

Must enjoy working with the public

Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
