Responsibilities of the Threat Intelligence Leader:
- Specialize in managing information, information sharing partnerships, and distribution of intelligence
- Analyze malware for indicator extraction, correlation to other malware samples, and threat attribution
- Lead and operationalize the processes and capabilities to collect, manage, document, and distribute actionable intelligence to Ashland detection and response teams.
- Responsible for the understanding and communication of Ashland's cyber threat landscape
- Responsible for intelligence management information systems and repositories
This position has the flexibility to be located in Covington, KY or Lexington, KY
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field of study
- 4 years experience within cyber security
- 2 years experience in scripting or development
- 4 years experience within information technology
- Working knowledge of intelligence processes and management
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence benefits to security operations
- Experience with scripting, development, and information technology system management
- Familiarity with IT Security systems (including network intrusion detection systems, anti-virus, host based detection systems, systems architecture)
- Experience in implementing new computer applications and systems
- Working knowledge of computer networks and operating systems
- Strong oral, written, and organizational skills
- Proven problem solving skills
- Proven ability to learn and apply new knowledge at an accelerated rate
- Results oriented
