As the Mechanical Engineer with a company that develops, manufactures and markets products that save and sustain the lives of people with various medical issues, youll be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and evaluation optimal, cost-effective Cold Chain product distribution land development and qualifications. In addition, the Mechanical Engineer will provide technical support in the aforementioned areas. ROLES AND
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, implement and evaluate optimal, cost-effective projects and technologies
Draft basic qualification and shipping qualification protocols
Process request, routing, approval, etc. of required documentation for qualification/protocol, etc.
Coordinate/organize product launches/extensions
Serve as primary Distribution Quality point-of-contact for new business acquisitions, joint ventures and/or distribution agreements initiatives
Assist in other ad-hoc support for Global Logistics, Clinical, etc.
Possible travel to facilitate product returns
Additional duties as assigned
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering
1
years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of basic principles in various engineering disciplines
Must have initial training in concepts of Six Sigma quality techniques
Ability to effectively run projects, coordinate contractors and direct the activities of a technician
