Under the general direction of the Administrative Director Nursing Services and within established Catholic Medical Center and departmental policies and procedures, the incumbent performs the following functions:
Essential Functions: Directs education needs assessment for Catholic Medical Center and directs the development of education plans to address needs identified through the assessment process. Directs the planning for the delivery of orientation, in-services and continuing education programs to nursing staff and various audiences and ensures that planned programs are delivered. Directs the preparation of the New Hampshire Nurses' Association self-evaluation for ongoing approval of the Catholic Medical Center Department of Education Continuing Education in Nursing Provider status. Submits quarterly reports for the NHNA. Selects, orients, trains and assigns department staff, either directly or through subordinate supervisor. Develops standards of performance, evaluates performance and initiates or makes recommendations for personnel actions. Develops educational goals and objectives in collaboration with various managers and staff in the organization. Participates in the development of Clinical Management and Practice Skills. Develops and implements department goals, policies and procedures in collaboration with department staff.
Qualifications: Education: o MSN required.
Experience: o Progressive responsibilities in supervisory and managerial roles. o Sufficient previous teaching/training experience in education or health care organization. Licensure/Certification: o Current registration in the State of NH as a Registered Nurse.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
