BASIC FUNCTION: The Business Learning Strategist is responsible for acting as a learning and performance solutions partner for Technology departments within Operations and Technology. The Business Learning Strategist works with their assigned Technology Department Heads to guide the development of learning strategies and delivery of learning and performance support programs, experiences and processes at the employee level for their business partners' organization. The strategist works with department heads to understand business and performance goals, and to proactively develop a learning strategy to help these departments meet their goals; assess learning and performance support needs; identify innovative, relevant and effective learning solutions; and manage the ongoing learning and performance support demands that support the strategic objectives of their assigned departments. This includes supervising a team of Performance Consultants, Instructional Designers and Developers and reviewing their work.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field or an equivalent combination of professional related work experience. A minimum of 5-7 years technology business experience, with demonstrated ability to identify and drive business goals, objectives and key performance expectations. A minimum of 5-7 years of gap analysis experience. A minimum of 8 - 10 years of progressively responsible work experience including people leadership and experience in learning and development. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with strong capabilities; including accountability managing scope, resources, timelines, deliverables and budget/cost. Strong consulting skills; including the ability to lead, direct, negotiate and influence with and without direct authority at all levels of an organization. Demonstrated understanding of models, theories and practices in the field of learning and performance consulting and systems thinking. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to provide innovative and creative solutions to business problems continuously raising the bar for new and different methods to support performance and business objectives. Demonstrated ability to lead others through change in a fast paced, matrixed organization. Strategic thinker who is able to balance current challenges and future possibilities and create strategic focus in an actionable manner for the business.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
