Summary:
Perform repairs, installations, test, trouble shoot, preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of electrical equipment in an electrical generating power plant in a safe manner compliant to environmental regulations and reliability standards.
Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines for personal protection, protection of fellow workers and the protection of the public.
Knowledgeable of environmental rules and regulations, and effectively apply them to all work situations.
Installs, maintains, tests, inspects, and repairs generating station electrical equipment such as AC/DC motors, transformers, generators, motor control centers, high voltage switchgear and UPS system.
Replaces, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains power plant instruments and controls of temperature, combustion, fuel air, water treatment, relay computer data log into computer controls, PLC and distributed control system and other miscellaneous power plant equipment.
Perform routine and complex maintenance work on a variety of instrumentation and control devices.
Involved in testing, training and matters related to NERC.
Understand the function and be able to perform troubleshooting and maintenance on complex digital control systems such as the Bailey DCS and the continuous emission monitoring and data acquisition system.
Reading, interpreting, and utilizing mechanical and electrical single line diagrams.
Assist in the implementation and upkeep on the overall preventative maintenance and spare parts inventory tracking system.
Maintain logs and/or records of problems, repairs, and downtime as required.
Make adjustments to equipment, as required, for maintaining safe and efficient operation of the entire Facility.
Works with Maintenance Operators as a job leader and to teach proper, safe use of tools and maintenance procedures.
Work without direct supervision while carrying out duties.
Perform preventive and minor maintenance of various plant equipment.
Meet Physical requirements of the job such as perform tasks while standing, walking, climbing and squatting.
Work with extended reach above head and in front of body and lift 50 pounds and carry while walking distances up to 10 feet.
Qualifications:
Have necessary skills and adequate electrical and/or instrument and control maintenance experience in the repair, inspection, and maintenance of related power plant equipment and instrumentation including inspection, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair.
Education:
Two years technical training at an accredited university or technical institute and three years' experience in a related field or a minimum of seven years' experience in a related field.High School Diploma/GED required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
