Director, Peer to Peer Fundraising Strategy and Management
This position is responsible for the development and execution of the agency's Peer to Peer fundraising strategy. The Peer to Peer strategy will focus on empowering individuals and groups to raise funds on behalf of the agency by allowing them to communicate and solicit prospective donors from their own networks and communities. The Director of Peer to Peer will be responsible for development P2P campaigns that incorporate both offline and online strategies for individuals, schools, corporations and community organizations.
Strong cross functional teamwork is required across multiple sections of the Agency, including ICM, Events, MCM, Legal, FSS, Donor Services and ITBS.
Duties and Responsibilities
o 50% Strategy and Planning
o In collaboration with Senior Director will develop and execute Peer to Peer program strategy, identifying programs for youth, corporate and mass market. In addition to development of programs, will develop clear strategies on recruitment, and online and offline fundraising.
o Responsible for outreach/relationship development with various partners to implement P2P campaigns
o Develop integrated P2P annual strategy with other campaigns when applicable.
o Develop retention and communication strategy for P2P program and specific campaigns utilizing both offline and online communications including mobile and social media
o Oversee Endurance (Team Save the Children) annual strategy including recruitment and communication strategies
o Develop high touch cultivation strategy for top fundraiser/donors ensuring high level of engagement
o Research (in collaboration with ICM team) and determine most effective tools including but not limited to online P2P fundraising platforms, widgets, fundraising pages, etc.
o Develop soft and hard ROI measurements for each Peer to Peer campaign
o Responsible for development of yearly budget and goals for Peer to peer program
o In collaboration with Performance Management Team provide overall revenue and expense monitoring of budget and advise if any variances are anticipated
o Continue to assess industry for trends and best practices
o 45% Management/Execution
o Manages and supervises direct report for schools and community organizations and Endurance program
o Oversee the management and execution of the P2P campaigns including the Endurance program
o Responsible for working with cross functional team to ensure tracking and reporting for P2P program
o Work cross-functionally across the agency for operational and campaign support, including but not limited to Advocacy/Public Policy, legal, ICM, MCM, Signature Events, Gift Catalog team, Donor Services, FSS and ITBS
o Review final campaign results and provide analysis and final recommendations to senior management.
o Develop and maintain vendor/partner relationships
o Responsible for contract negotiations when applicable

o Provide support to Senior Director, and AVP as needed

Background and Experience
o College degree required; non-profit fundraising strongly preferred
o Minimum of ten years experience in direct response marketing, preferably in peer to peer
o Previous management of direct reports required

o Solid skills in Microsoft PC applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
