Heavy Equipment Operator
Immediate opening for Heavy Equipment Operators with experience in the utility, forestry or logging industry. We are a well established forestry company with offices in both LA and AR. We specialize in clearing utility right of ways, storm response and SWPPP installation. The position will be based out of the AR office, with travel to project jobsites in the AR area. A CDL license is preferred. Must have clean driving record. Must be willing to work with a safety first mindset. This is a full time position with excellent pay and benefits.

Summary:
Equipment Operators are responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment and basic machine maintenance and repairs of machinery operated related to clearing utility right of ways. Looking for those that are experienced in operating cutting heads, barsaws, mulchers and feller bunhcers. Will be required to operate back hoes, excavators, skidders and dozers. Must be able to meet goals and deadlines by working in a productive and safe manner. Must work well with others and be a team player.
Operate heavy equipment
Inspect and maintain equipment
Complete proper paperwork and maintenance records
Perform basic machine maintenance daily
Maintain uptime kits
Attend safetyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
