Demonstrate ability to align between enterprise architecture, business architecture, and technical/solutions architecture to deliver innovative solutions
Proven ability to drive initiatives without any formal authority in an ambiguous environment, relying on well-developed influencing skills, as well as technical knowledge
Experience turning research ideas into actionable designs. Able to persuade stakeholders and to champion effective techniques through delivery.
Knowledge of the real world experiences associated with emerging application technologies/approaches and their application in the insurance industry
IT consulting background with experience influencing and delivering large global business and transformation programs

Experience in Commercial Insurance domain is preferred
Advanced degree in a relevant field is desirable.
Excellent 'all around' communication skills, performance management, good delivery practice and techniques, as well as fluent written and spoken English.
Additional preferred experience in
J2EE technologies such as Servlet/JSP, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, JAXB, or related skill
Application Servers like Web Sphere, Apache/Tomcat, JBoss
Service-oriented (SOA) architectures, Webservices (SOAP and REST)
Mobile App development for iOS and Android development
IaaS hosting with AWS or similar
Salesforce.com
Continuous integration tools - Jenkins or similar tool
BPM software like Pega
Business Intelligence and Reporting application using Informatica and Microsoft tool/products
Managing an architecture portfolio of technology stack comprised of mainframe to distributed applications
KNOWLEDGE:
Extensive programming experience in multiple languages
Enterprise Architecture expertise in delivery, development, and technology trends/directions
Financial services domain knowledge, including expertise at the intersection of risk, finance and customer domains
End-to-end enterprise architecture program execution knowledge and leadership
Ability to guide/teach others in architecture principles - strategies, roadmaps, landscapes, technical standards, solution architecture, risk and security
Familiarity with software development lifecycles such as Waterfall or Agile/SCRUM
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical degree required; Masters degree preferred
