The Process Engineer's primary responsibilities are to support problem solving efforts
mill-wide through planning and conducting trials directed toward, productivity
improvement, product development, quality improvements and cost reduction for paper
manufacturing.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, pulp and paper science, or a
related area
- Two plus years of experience and results which demonstrates process
troubleshooting and analytical problem solving abilities is preferred.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Must have the ability to design and evaluate equipment and processes in terms of
chemistry, control strategies, mechanical integrity, energy transfer, thermodynamics,
mass transfer, and fluid dynamics.
- Examples of demonstrated leadership required.
- Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Bottom line :
