Responsibilities
Performs instrumental analyses on fresh and spent catalyst materials.
Should be familiar with the techniques of instrumental analysis, to include inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES).
Must be able to function independently with minimal supervision in a fast paced analytical services environment.
Previous experience with precious metal analysis and working in an ISO-compliant environment would be a plus.
Requirements:
1 to 3 years experience in instrumental analysis.
Experience with Inductively coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP) required.
Manage lab book to enter test/results.
Experience with a LIMS system is a plus
Excel, word experience required.
Education: BS Chemistry or equivalent
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
Length of Assignment: Contract (7 month)
Location: Union, NJ (07083)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
