DEKA requires an Electrical Engineering Technician that is a motivated self-starter, requires minimal direction and works well within multi-disciplinary teams. The individual will be working across several projects and must be able to clearly communicate challenges and priorities. The individual must be able to multi-task while remaining composed and efficient in a rapidly changing engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
Electronic assembly and rework in an R&D environment
Electromechanical assembly, testing, and documentation
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma
Certified solder technician
Skilled at rework through hole, leaded and leadless SMT
Fine pitch (0.5mm) and 0402 SMT components
Working knowledge of basic electronic components
Able to generate documentation of rework and wiring harnesses
Able to read and interpret basic electrical schematics
Able to build prototype circuits with minimal instruction
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good communication skills
Desirable:
10 years experience
2 year technical degree
Board level electronic troubleshooting skills
Mechanical aptitude
Familiar with using Mentor Graphics PADS to view PCB designsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
