Assists in preparation of financial statements, analyzes trends, creates reports and explains variances to help predict future revenues and expenses. Reports financial results to management and offers suggestions about resources, forecasting/budgeting, process improvements & cost saving initiatives. Familiarity with more complicated accounting and financial concepts, practices and controls. Relies on experience and judgment to perform tasks and accomplish goals.

Responsibilities:
Leads, mentors general accounting team in daily and monthly activities
Prepares/reviews/signs-off on account reconciliations
Prepares/reviews/signs-off on routine/one-time journal entries
Assist in quarterly and year end audits
Ownership of certain areas of Balance Sheet
Ensures compliance to internal controls and Company policies
Assists in preparation of certain financial statements and/or schedules
Assists in annual budgeting process as well as quarterly forecasts
Prepares/reviews fluctuations of certain financial statement activities
Prepares routine and ad hoc reporting accompanied by the required supporting documentation
Research and document the impact of more complex accounting principles
Communicates findings or suggestions to management
Assists in numerous special projects assigned from upper level management
Perform job with integrity and transparency

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
Excellent Reconciliation and Analytical Skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Excellent PC skills, including Excel, Access, and Word. SAP & AS400 experience is a plus
Must be self-motivated and able to effectively handle multiple projects with strict deadlines
4-7 years of General Accounting experience and strong understanding of GAAPEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
