Dawood Engineering, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Survey Technician for our Harrisburg, PA Regional office.
Essential Duties:
o Receives, processes and converts field survey data from GPS and/or Total Stations for use by CAD or other technicians and software applications such as Carlson Survey and MS Excel in the production of surface and topographical maps, as-built data bases and related items to accurately reflect existing and as-built conditions for assigned projects.
o Downloads and processes data collected in the field by a variety of methods and equipment, including hand written notes and details.
o Utilizes processed field data in the production of digital mapping accurately reflecting conditions in the field for assigned projects.
o Inputs and adjusts field traverse information as required
o Creates field views to verify data plots and ensure land features are as depicted on project survey maps.
o Performs title research to identify property owners of record, related encumbrance information and/or chain of title information. Research may be completed via online resource or in actual county courthouse as the situation warrants.
o Calculates data for use by field staff in the construction stakeout of site features.
o Generates various project deliverables based on individual client needs, as specified by the assigned project manager. Project deliverables may include conventional survey/engineering plans, and/or digital CAD files.
Requirements:
o Currently licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain such license within six (6) months of employment. Licensure in additional states is a bonus.
o Associates degree with a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience (or equivalent)
o Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools, Civil3D, and Trimble Business Center. Carlson Software, Deltek Vision and ARCGIS experience, preferred.
o Ability to obtain current PA Professional Land Surveyor license within six months is necessary.
o Candidate must exhibit a positive attitude, have excellent communication skills and work well alone and with others in a team environment. Ability to work in a busy and demanding work environment. Occasional travel, required.
This is a Full-time position with benefit package and competitive wages. EOE.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
