Reviewing suppliers performance for delivery, quantity and quality;
Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and legal aspects;
Forecasting to determine product requirements to fulfill production needs;
Resolving purchase order and invoice pricing errors, and supplier past due accounts;
Reconciling revolving credit accounts monthly;
Managing incoming materials storage and distribution;
Tracking and reporting monthly on excess or obsolete inventory.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

years of raw material purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment;
Experience overseeing vendor contracts and negotiations;
Inventory, purchasing and warehousing experience;
Vendor and MRP experience;
Supervisory experience;
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
CPIM or CPM Certification preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
