Job Description
iCanvas seeks a Marketplace/CSE Manager to be responsible for the performance of all of our marketplaces (Amazon, Ebay, Overstock, etc) and comparison shopping engines (Google Product Search, etc). This is a new position within the Marketing department at iCanvas. Given exceptional growth for iCanvas via marketplaces in 2014, rhere is considerable opportunity to expand and lead a growing division of the company.
Responsibilities
Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to the following:
Manage all marketplace channels according to defined revenue and ROI goals.
Advise on new marketplaces to enter & any sales/advertising programs to participate.
Setup/manage each new marketplace account & new sales/advertising programs.
Manage feeds - without the need of 3rd party software - for all marketplaces and being able to make changes as needed.
Weekly, monthly, & annually track and analyze the results from various marketplaces -- and execute on that analysis.
Assist in defining the strategy for marketplace marketing channels.
Manage the addition/removal/promotion/demotion of product.
Manage pricing/promotion in each channel.
Develop and optimize content as needed.
Perform category mapping and optimization as needed.
Reviewing competitor listings and compiling information on products, tactics and pricing.
Audit channels to assess offer accuracy and competitiveness.
Build/manage relationships with all marketplace contacts.
Troubleshoot all service/products issues for each channel, managing tickets to resolution.
Work closely with marketing manager (strategy, BI), content manager (product information), and database manager (feeds), and supply chain manager (service scores).
CSE Management
Manage Google and Bing Product feeds
Advise on CSE's to consider beyond Google & Bing Shopping.
Coordinate management of bidding strategies on comparison shopping engines.
Monitor and track daily ad spend budgets and performance of online marketing buys.
Recommend participation in other CSE's (Shopping.com, Nextag, Pricegrabber)
Create a merchandising/promo calendar across all of our marketplaces.
Qualifications
2-3 years minimum of experience managing performance based marketplace accounts (Amazon Seller, Ebay a must -- Amazon Vendor, Overstock, Wayfair a plus)
Self-starter--this dedicated role will be new to iCanvas
Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction based on the analysis
Strong understanding of marketplace strategies and best practices
Results-oriented, collaborative work style
Strong attention to detail, especially related to managing feeds to specification
Excellent oral and written communication skills, solid problem-solving skills, and demonstrated teamwork skills
Experience with CSE's is a plus, but not required (Google Shopping, Shopping.com, Nextag, Pricegrabber, etc)
Knowledge of search listing providers, 3rd party SEM tools, tracking tools, bid-management systems and keyword development tools a plus
Technical Skills
Advanced skills in Excel analyzing performance data and reporting that back to management team (pivot tables, vlookups, etc).
Familiarity with databases (Access/SQL) preferred.
Must be able to modify and format feeds according to marketplace/CSE specifications as needed.
Familiarity with marketplace management software (i.e. - Channel Advisor) a plus.
Basic HTML & CSS a plus.
Education
B.A./B.S degree in Business or Marketing preferred
