Summary: Direct quality assurance operations for the manufacturing facility by developing and promoting quality achievement and performance improvement. Establish standards of service and quality measurement systems. Monitor production conformance to Quality Assurance standards and procedures.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to prevent and resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
2. Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
3. Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
4. Achieves financial objectives by preparing the QA budget, analyzing variances, and understanding the business context in terms of company profitability.
5. Assessing suppliers' and company's product specifications and customer requirements for setting quality standards.
6. Assessing suppliers' quality assurance systems and manufacturing capabilities to repeatedly meet quality requirements.
7. Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
8. Establish and maintain clearly defined quality methods and documentation for company-wide application.
9. Establish and maintain in-process inspection standards, controls plans, and documentation.
10. Identify relevant quality-related training needs.
11. Monitor performance through gathering relevant data, and promote proactive improvement initiatives to ensure consistent high quality products.
12. Establish and maintain a corrective action system, for both internal and external issues.
13. Lead the quality staff in supporting production to meet customer expectations.
14. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
THE MOST IMPORTANT ACTIVITIES PERFORMED:
1. Maintain a clear understanding of customer expectations, and ability to effectively communicate those expectations to all levels of the organization.
2. Directly communicate quality improvement initiatives with customers.
3. Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.
4. Observe and monitor production procedures to ensure that operators conform to production standards.
5. Formulate processes (develop procedures, designs, forms, and instructions) for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality, reliability, and process control data.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Light industrial lifting of up to twenty (20) pounds is required.
2. Extended time on feet.
3. Light office activities and duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS):
1. Must have extensive knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma.
2. Must have a minimum of five years of manufacturing experience.
3. BA in Industrial Management or 10 years experience in the manufacturing field.
4. ASQ (American Society of Quality) Certification or a minimum of 7 to 10 years experience gained in increasingly responsible management positions.
5. Demonstrates a style of participative management in problem solving, project implementation, and continuous improvement objectives. Offers a service-oriented willingness to function as a technical resource to work teams and location management.
6. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
7. Knowledge of company quality specifications and standards.
8. Thorough working knowledge of manufacturing processes.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
