TITLE:
IT Consultant (SAP SME)
JOB DUTIES:
Interact with business users in the relevant functional area and understand their security, governance, risk and compliance concerns, business processes, and the business requirements in SAP modules; Develop and maintain applications and databases by evaluating client needs; Analyze requirements; Develop software systems; Present prototype SAP security, governance, risk and compliance solutions requiring system configuration; Demonstrate solutions to business users on the project based on business scenarios and identify the gaps; Provide detailed specifications taking the prototype as the base and writing functional specifications (RICEFW) to address the gaps incl., the following: Configuration: The real final configuration as against the prototype; Forms; Reports: Build the final reports that the users need to run their business; Interfaces: Create specs for interfaces between SAP and other systems; Conversions: Create specs for mapping and automation of data transfer from current systems to SAP; Extensions (or Enhancements): Create (as necessary) code modifications to standard system to enhance functionality such as enhanced logic, additional fields on the screen or customized validations; Security requirementsSpecify the security needs for the solution (e.g. who is authorized to create orders or change pricing); Involve in discussions with all stakeholders and technical consultants; Set up the finalized system configuration on a development system and transport to test system; Set up test scenarios, test cases and either perform or support some or all of: Unit Testing, Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing; Train users on relevant SAP modules; Perform data conversion from legacy systems as necessary; Provide solutions in relevant SAP Enterprise modules;
Work involves SAP Security and Governance, Risk and Compliance from design and implementation to beyond post implementation support; Implement GRC10 Access Controls tools such as ARA, ARM, EAM and BRM; Production support for SAP ECC 5.0, 6.0, BI 7.0, BOBJ, BPC, CRM 7.0, Portals; Implementation of SAP security projects from design phase to testing, Go Live phase and support phases; Prepare work instruction documents for GRC 10 support; Preventative, mitigating and compensation controls to ensure the appropriate level of protection and adherence to goals of overall SAP security strategy; Design and develop global roles in SAP R/3, ECC, BW, B.I, SRM, CRM and APO, various modules like SAP HCM, MM, PP, PS, FI, WM, SD, IDM and SAP XI; Work on CUA Environment; Build POC's for client requirements; Conduct internal trainings on Security and GRC-10; Work involves travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites across USA.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants need to have a Bachelor's degree Or Foreign Equiv. in Computer Science or rel. field, any Engineering / Tech. field, or any Management field and 5 years of progressive post Baccalaureate experience in job offered including at least 12 months experience with relevant technologies identified above.
