Position Summary
Company in Peachtree City is looking for an internal Marketing Copywriter capable of producing high quality content for both inbound and outbound marketing efforts. These efforts include, but are not limited to, the company website and social media, e-mail and direct mail campaigns, news articles and press releases, advertisements, case studies, white papers, and video scripts.
The Marketing Copywriter will be responsible not only for the creation of copy, but will also work closely with the marketing and business teams to define the voice of our corporate and product brands.
Successful copywriters thrive in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy learning and writing about technology and complex industry topics.
Essential Functions

Work closely with the marketing and business teams to define the voice of our corporate and product brand/s, and convey this in all content strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams, and conduct market research to understand unique needs of key customer segments, and create content that further positions company as a thought and product leader within these segments.
Write compelling copy for inbound and outbound marketing and communication efforts that successfully executes the marketing, category, product or overall business strategy.
Write detailed customer use case success stories and white papers to educate target audiences and/or highlight the effectiveness of products and solutions.
Journalistic copywriting for company newsletter and placement in trade magazines.
SEO and social media writing to optimize web content and digital communications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field is required.
4
years copywriting experience.
Writing for a B2B, or technology or software development company, is highly desirable.
Ability to understand complex issues and industry quickly.
Ability to write creatively and journalistically across inbound and outbound marketing and communication efforts.
Experience writing for direct, digital, and promotional marketing, advertising, white papers, and case studies, or a relevant combination of education and experience (writing samples in multiple formats will be requested).
Experience developing content that communicates corporate and/or product voice and value proposition across multiple marketing channels.
Experience optimizing content for today's SEO requirements.
Advanced knowledge of digital media channels & digital advertising requirements.
Experience with e-mail marketing best practices.
Knowledge of user interface design & responsive design.
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively throughout the organization and work directly with a variety of internal customers.
Strong attention to detail as well as business copywriting standards.
Ability to edit for grammar and style.
