Our Client, a well-known provider of Cloud Based backup, disaster recovery and Intelligent Business Continuity solutions for Europe and North America, has hired Hallmark to help them locate and hire a talented SQA Automation Engineer with a passion for building test automation frameworks and tools. This position is full-time and based in CT working with one of the fastest growing companies in the country! The growth possibilities with this company are awesome!
Responsibilities:
Code across a number of languages - Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.
Design and develop systems and tools to support test automation infrastructure
Interact and work closely with various departments to ensure product quality
Work with QA team members to thoroughly test all portions of product UI, internal and external reporting and alerting, advanced product features as well as command-line capabilities
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
B.S. Computer Science or related field (or 2
years of industry experience)
Working knowledge of Linux and Windows
Deep knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
Understand design patterns and best practices
Passion for finding problems with software (preferred)
Enthusiasm for efficiency through automated processes (preferred)
Experience with Selenium Python Bindings (preferred, this is not a Selenium IDE position)
Experience with SCM; specifically GitHub (preferred, link to Github/BitBucket profile encouraged)
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Shell scripting or Perl experience
Some experience with virtualization such as VmWare or Hyper-V
