ATK is currently recruiting for an Inspector to work in our Clearfield, UT location.
Job Description:
This position is in the Receiving Quality Control department.
Job responsibilities include:
Independently review supplier paperwork, verifying material pass/fail criteria against Engineering inspection requirements
Visual inspection and basic dimensional measurements of incoming materials
Reading chart records to determine material shelf life and expiration dates
Counting and tagging of boxes and individual parts
Computer processing and status of material acceptance within the material management system
Filing acceptance paperwork for record retention
Requirements and
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED (education will be verified) and 4 - 5 years of quality inspection and planning experience
Excellent computer skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs during inspections
Must be able to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures
Ability to work in hot and below zero conditions
Ability to be called in for unscheduled overtime in the evenings and on weekends
Air travel for source inspection may be up to 10% depending on Company need

Requisition may be filled at a lower level (Inspector 07) with a High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years experience in quality inspection and planning.
