Major Functions: Under general supervision of a master plumber, assembles, installs, inspects, alters, renovates, maintains and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. ## Position Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent is required. Plumbing certification and/or training from an accredited technical school is preferred. A minimum of four years engaged in learning and assisting in the installation and repair of plumbing equipment and systems is required. A thorough understanding of plumbing standards, rules, regulations and safety standards is required. Experience with hydronic and other HVAC systems is desirable. Customer oriented with the ability to use good judgment and solve problems. Ability to complete paperwork in a legible and efficient manner. Individual must have the ability to communicate adequately and appropriately with the customer. The ability to learn, in a reasonable time frame, the Company's policies procedures, products and services. The ability to read and interpret blue prints is desirable. Days and hours: Based on the neeeds of the business, according to the CBA. Education: See QualificationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
