The successful candidate will serve as a Lead Systems Signal Processing Engineer within the Airborne SIGINT Payload product area. This leadership role will provide customer-facing support to the SIGINT business and will support identifying new opportunities and anticipating evolving program requirements. The person filling this position will perform engineering leadership and technical assignments in support of SIGINT programs.
Required Skills and Education
Key engineering capabilities with experience are:
- Possess a strong background in DSP, digital communications, detection and estimation theory
- Experience developing algorithms derived from theory for DSP/SIGINT systems
- Developing requirements in response to customer operational needs
- Maturing operational concepts
- Developing system architectures
- Supporting system test and evaluation activities
- 12
years of demonstrated experience in the area of SIGINT payload development
- Focus areas should include specific experience with SIGINT system design and analysis, wireless communications, and digital signal processing
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance is required
Preferred Skills and Education
- Experience as Principle Investigator of Research and Development projects or as Technical Lead or Chief Engineer of a technology development project
- Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Digital Communications
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering
