General
Job Description:
Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, the pricing manager is responsible to manage the overall pricing process for the commercial vehicle business unit. This role will work in conjunction with the shared service center and product planning to maintain the pricing process and guidelines that are focused on pricing accuracy and profit maximization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities of Position:
Develops and executes internal pricing process and guidelines; manages pricing process implementation on new product pricing and price changes
Maintains pricing intelligence including trends and knowledge of pricing and market access requirements across customer segments. Identify and anticipate key trends and assess opportunities and risks for pricing strategy development
Responsible for the oversight, management and communication of confidential customer pricing program information and the pricing systems
Identify opportunities for strategic analysis and develops the necessary analytical reports to help guide pricing decisions
Provide leadership to troubleshoot issues, proactively internal and external customer challenges, streamline work flows, and provide solutions and improvements to pricing decision tools and processes
Resolve escalated issues on the execution of pricing and price realization
Provides leadership pricing expertise to drive overall strategic pricing direction: tracks and measures performance
Manages adherence to pricing policies and strategies including margin targets
Participates in pricing strategy setting and aligns and aligns pricing strategies with the overall business unit strategy
Represents pricing on cross-functional projects; drives various pricing analytical projects such as competitive product, market assessments, commodity cost increases; etc.
Leads compliance with laws and regulations regarding pricing
Supports the design and integration of IT and financial systems related to the management of pricing information
Coaches and motivates pricing analysts; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues
Minimum Qualifications of Position:
Bachelor s Degree in business management, marketing, economics or other related field; Masters preferred.

years of experience in pricing and analytics
Experience with commercial vehicle markets is preferred
Strong analytical skills and previous business strategy experience required
Deliver excellent communication and influencing skills, and the ability to manage in-direct reports and lead complex initiatives
Ability to work with cross functional teams, including but not limited to, Finance, Engineering, Product Planning, IT, and Shared Services
Advanced Excel skills required; Statistical experience and system experience preferred (example: Minitab)
Must be fully proficient with pricing analysis and metrics reporting. Must be able to identify and interpret patterns in data to predict future opportunities
Able to develop and implement integrated pricing strategies across a broad set of products and/or customer segments. Capable of using the following tools, techniques and processes: Price structure creation and a management, price setting, price policy creation, competitive intelligence analysis
Understands products and market positioning tools and experience in applying them
Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
