The position will serve as the financial team leader and the owner of store inventory to ensure divisional goals and objectives are met. Work with the Planning and Allocation team to establish and communicate divisional level strategies and objectives. Manage the planning function and serve as the link between buying, planning and allocation
Serve as the financial team leader to ensure divisional goals and objectives are met
Ensure the planning team is delivering financial objectives by the target dates of the Divisional calendar.
Review and approve all markdowns and purchase orders
Creates seasonal business plans and manages forecasts, reviewing the OTB to make recommendations to the Buying team based on current business trends
Manages Store Inventory
Manages the allocation process working with the buying team and merchandise planners to achieve the optimum assortment at the store level.
Monitors store level inventory and communicates with the team to correct over/under inventory situations.
Works with the store operations team to prepare for store openings, closings and remodels. Ensures appropriate inventory levels are met.
Size Management
Works with buying team to develop the size strategy.
Manages in stock rates and communicates actions needed to achieve goals.
Manages the purchase order process
Analysis
Drives selling analysis and communicates results to the larger team.
Manages special project including preparation for key selling periods.
Ensure the staff is delivering analytical support to the larger team to identify business opportunities.
Maintain open lines of communication with subordinates regarding business and financial plan objectives.
Manage, coach, and develop staff.
Identify developmental needs, theory and technical, of the planning and allocation staff and execute training sessions.

Must have a college degree, or equivalent, and 3-5 years of merchandise planning and allocation experience in a specialty retail environment. Supervisory experience is required. Must possess excellent analytical, math and organizational skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work with all levels of management. Strong knowledge of PC applications is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
