Responsible on an assigned program for adhering to the Configuration Management (CM) requirements pertaining to hardware identification, change control and status accounting in accordance with group policies and procedures as well as division/program directives.
1. Assures the continuity of product design configuration by reviewing and analyzing initial drawings/documents and implementing subsequent approved engineering changes in relation to drawings/documents. Ensures that all applicable specifications or MIL-Standard requirements have been adhered to.
2. Assists program personnel in the preparation of complex engineering change proposals (ECP) and related documents resulting from a change request.
3. Collects engineering data from program engineering and support functions. Provides for systematic release and distribution of formal drawings and associated documentation. Reviews engineering drawings/documents in order to compare them with hardware on project work breakdown structures.
4. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with functional personnel in Quality Assurance, Integrated Logistics Support, Procurement and Manufacturing during the fabrication/production phases for implementation and approved releases, changes and audits. Maintains an effective working relationship with customers and configuration management personnel in order to obtain, interpret and transmit engineering data.
5. Maintains current program engineering files and assists in establishing and implementing as built records and status accounting systems for a program
6. Coordinates Configuration Control Board activities which include, but are not limited to, establishing the agenda, recording approvals/non-approvals, and establishing and maintaining Action Item Lists. Assures that all necessary data are available.
7. Develops comprehensive knowledge of hardware development and production and operational phases of programs. Researches available literature and attends related courses and seminars.
Required Skills and Education
Required education: Bachelor Degree in a technical field, such as Engineering/Industrial Technology, or Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience, which should include exposure to hardware and software development projects.
Preferred Skills and Education
Effective Communication both written & verbal. Sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel, customers & suppliers. Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports & documents. Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel. Candidate should have previous experience using some type of automated change control tool. Candidate should be familiar with either MIL-STD-973 or ANSI/EIA-649.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
