Systems Engineer Analyst Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability will conduct systems engineering for the reliability, maintainability, and availability (RM&A) analysis and electronic design related to DOD systems found on U.S. Navy combatants including conducting destructive and non-destructive tests to ensure that hardware manufactured for U.S. Navy ships meets all military standards. Required Skills and Education
Required education: High School/GED. Ten (10) years of a demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to specific technical disciplines; Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability
Ten (10) years of professional experience for Senior System Engineer / Analyst, ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in reliability, maintainability, and availability (RM&A) analysis and electronic design related to DOD systems found on U.S. Navy combatants including conducting destructive and non-destructive tests to ensure that hardware manufactured for U.S. Navy ships meets all military standards. This includes failure analysis on electrical connections, structural and mounting hardware and components such as keyboards, computers, and/or circuit boards.

Demonstrated experience with weapon and combat system certification processes and requirements, specifically self-certification criteria for elements of weapons control systems and surface ship combat, control and/or situational awareness systems. Current Navy programs that apply this specific systems engineering discipline include the Tomahawk Weapon System and Surface Ship Undersea Systems Warfare (USW) systems.
