Our Performing Servicing team focuses on the customer and strives for operational excellence in servicing mortgage loans and home equity products for our customers.
We are currently seeking Home Equity Sales Specialist 2's to start Monday, February 2, 2015. Wells Fargo Home Equity Group is one of the nation's leading prime home equity lenders with multi-channel distribution in all 50 states, and serving more than 1.5 million customer households. The Wells Fargo Home Equity Group was the first to introduce a product that combines a mortgage and a home equity line of credit, a flexible line of credit that offers fixed rates and affordable payments. Primary business locations are Iowa, Oregon and Virginia.
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships, increasing market penetration and ensuring high levels of customer service. Home Equity Sales Specialists provide sales, service and financial solutions to our Wells Fargo Home Equity Customers. Home Equity Sales Specialists spend nearly 100 percent of their time on the phone answering questions and servicing our customers. The working environment is fun and relaxed with a strong focus on service and sales and most importantly, our customers. The work is demanding, quite structured, and involves overcoming customers' banking concerns which can include escalated issues. Home Equity Sales Specialists are expected to sell products and services and achieve aggressive performance goals which are measured daily. The best Home Equity Sales Specialists thrive on customer interaction and never miss an opportunity to market a product or new service to a customer. They always handle each customer with a friendly, courteous touch while following strict procedures for handling various types of inquiries.
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule. OR-Beaverton: Min: $26,400 Mid: $35,700 Max: $45,000
The Home Equity Sales Specialist role also provides the opportunity to earn monthly paid incentives based on successfully meeting the set performance and sales goals.

Basic
Qualifications: 2
years home equity mortgage or sales experience. Persons in this position must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau loan originator qualification requirements and must comply with Wells Fargo policies related to these requirements. The loan originator qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, credit fitness and criminal background standards. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening.
Minimum
Qualifications: This position requires S.A.F.E. registration at the time of employment. The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) web site ( ) provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position.
Shifts range between: 10:30am-7pm or 11am-8pm, Monday-Friday with a rotational shift of 7:30am-4pm on Saturdays.
Training: Begins on: 2/2/15 and will be held 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday, for approx. 4 weeks. (Assigned shifts will be determined upon the successful completion of training and based on business needs.)
High volume inbound & outbound phone experience
Previous customer service experience, including dealing with deescalating difficult customer situations and resolution processing
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to perform consistently in a fast paced environment, goal focused, customer service oriented environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Display a positive attitude
Track record of successfully working in a goal oriented environment
Reliable attendance
Ability to operate PC in a Window based environment in a fast paced setting and the ability to navigate through several systems/applications simultaneously
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
Preferred Skills:
HS Diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of mortgage, banking, home equity and/or financial services
Detailed knowledge and experience offering Wells Fargo Home Equity products and services
Detailed knowledge and experience researching and resolving complex Home Equity/Mortgage servicing issues
Experience executing customer retention strategies
Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with auto dialer
Working knowledge of SHAW/Hogan, , Retent and/or CIV systems
Bilingual English/Spanish oral communication skills
