Junior Engineer will provide support in concept definition, DoDAF compliant architecture development, requirements definition, and initial and detailed system design activities related to the identification, analysis, and documentation of complex systems involving DOD weapon, combat, and/or fire control systems. Required Skills and Education
Required education: High School/GED. Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
Two (2) years of experience in systems engineering focused on requirements development and management for software systems. Knowledge of processes used for development and maintenance of Software Requirements Specifications, System Specifications, and requirements management including requirements traceability desired. Knowledge of Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements (DOORS) tool desired.

High School Diploma or GED 4 year(s) related experience
Two (2) years of concurrent experience with Navy surface or submarine shipboard weapons, combat, and/or fire control systems to include current Navy programs such as Tomahawk, USW (Surface Ship), USW (C4I), SLBM, and/or LCS Combat Systems . Experienced with engineering tools such as DOORS, Change Synergy, and System Architect. Experienced in obtaining DIACAP and/or PIT certification and accreditation of Navy weapon systems connected to the IT-21 Network. Experience with other disciplines such as Integrated Logistics Support, Test and Evaluation, and software engineering and integration of systems with multiple Navy surface and submarine platforms and operational weapons systems.
