Required Skills and Education
Required education: High School/GED
Read and interpret, and support development of electrical fabrication and installation drawings
Perform continuity checks on wiring, connectors and aircraft components.
Perform power on checks and operational checks of the system.
Perform harness, video, and RF cable harness fabrication.
Perform installation and troubleshooting of control, power, video, and RF cables and harnesses on aircraft with minimum supervision.
Be qualified and proficient in the use of TACAN, VOR, VSWR, WATT meter etc. test equipment for both on aircraft and in-shop testing of components and systems.
Work as Modification Team Leader
Understand and interpret requirments of standards AS50881 and J-STD-001
Preferred Skills and Education
Ten years experience in aircraft electronics fields.
A plus if have certifications in; 1. IPC J-STD-001 Soldering Electrical and Electronic assembies certified. 2. IPC/WHMA-A_620 Cable and Wire Harness Certification
