Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES-(DUTIES MAY BE CHANGED OR ADDITIONAL DUTIES ASSIGNED)
TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY, AN INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL DUTY SATISFACTORILY. THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND/OR ABILITY REQUIRED. Schedule work orders on appropriate equipment based on production specifications.
Schedule both resources and equipment to ensure a level load on the production floor.
Enter work orders for production based on the information provided by Customer Care via sales orders.
Maintain production master files. This includes the creation of new files and the retention of existing production master files.
Communicates daily schedule requirements to production floor and Material Handler.
Reviews all new parts specifications for accuracy with respect to equipment for production.
Manage and analyze Kanban queue to facilitate orders for replenishment.
Analyze Kanban signals to determine velocity, signal failures and PFEP modifications.
Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant Kanban, Sharepoint, Microsoft products and applicable order entry applications.
Anticipate, research and report on future changes to ensure such knowledge is factored into the planning of the company's own strategy, resources and procedures.
Adhere to departmental and company policies and procedures.
Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in replenishment activities and procedures.
Monitor, record, analyze and report on activities, trends, results and recommendations relating to replenishment activities.
Manage stock control activities influenced by Key account stocking requirements.
Prepare and submit relevant administrative reports in a timely and accurate manner, for example: shipping reports; KRB minutes, actions and agenda; Kanban user instructions and procedures
Investigate, plan and implement strategically effective and relevant methods, to optimally meet the needs of production and our customers. Examples include expedites and orders which follow an abnormal process flow.
Plan and manage strategies for inventory reductions.
Proactively co-labor other departments as necessary to forecast, plan to meet, and to supply demand.
Sharepoint Liaison for OP-EX, KRB and Helpdesk
Create and maintain customized training literature and material for internal and external use.
Follows 6S guidelines assigned to work area and surrounding areas.
Nature and Scope:
This position interacts with varying levels of internal and external personnel requiring the ability to clearly communicate both verbally and written. Effectiveness in this role requires record keeping techniques; standard software application. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Basic Computer Skills
Data Entry
Intermediate Microsoft office products specifically Excel and Word
Ability to quickly assimilate and execute new information and processes.
Above average problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
Ability to toggle between multiple software programs.
Education:
Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.), college is preferred but not required.
Work experience in the flexographic industry is required.
Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail and word processing.
Above average mathematics abilities
Solid verbal and written communications skills with strong ability to follow written or verbal instructions
Read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, and work instructions.
Maintain good attendance.
Capable of devising multiple alternative solutions based on limited assumptions and information
Ability to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation

Working Conditions:
Works primarily in an office environment but will be required to wear hearing, foot, and/or other personal protective equipment while performing duties in a manufacturing setting. May, on a continuous basis, sit for a long period of time, and use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting and/or move up to 25 lbs. may be required. Vision: close vision, distance and color vision to distinguish color variations, peripheral and depth perception as well as the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Must be able to work overtime as required by workload and customer mandated deadlines. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
