Employer waterproofs new construction. Participate in the entire bid process pertaining to the waterproofing of structures both above surface and subterranean. Specifically, analyze architectural blueprints and specifications, construction documents to determine scope of work. Calculate time and materials. Prepare proposals and construction schedules utilizing Auto Cad and Acrobat. Defend proposals by advising clients on construction costs. Prepare Bills of Quantities. Monitor construction to insure conformity with specifications and budget. Responsible for performing quantity take-off, value engineering, budgeting, cost analysis and trade-off studies for commercial construction projects. Prepare all elemental cost plans and exercise cost control over phases of projects. Prepare feasibility, cost benefit and related studies. Prepare change orders as required.
Requires a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering and one year of experience. In lieu of, will accept a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering and 5 years of progressive experience, or any suitable combination of education, training or experience thereof. No less than a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering and 5 years of progressive experience is acceptable.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
