Auto Truck Group has an outstanding opportunity for a / Servicer (2nd & 3rd Shifts available) / based in our Bartlett, IL location.
What will you do?
The Servicer is responsible for installing decals, stripes, protective tape, reflectors and touch-up paint to vehicles.
Install decals, stripes, protective tape, reflectors, and other components to truck.
Check paint workmanship while striping and decaling and inform of errors.
Prime compartments and correct over-spray problems and apply undercoating to bumpers and bodies.
Paint and install small parts and equipment to vehicle as required by the work order.
Aid in service of body after being painted by installing and securing loose shipped items and adjust locks/latches for proper operation.
Perform inspections of vehicle, pre-delivery, or dealer prepping, as well as, checking chassis for problems.
Responsible for verifying line items have been completed on work order. Check truck's vital fluid levels and adjust to specifications.
What are we looking for?
1-3 years machine operator experience; previous auto body experience preferred.
Able to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
Possess the ability to use electrical/power tools correctly.
Have knowledge of shop machines and be able to correctly use all required safety equipment
