PATIENT ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE
Position
Summary: Responsible for complete and accurate registration and documentation of home medical equipment sales. Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Medical equipment experience and/or education preferred.
Sales experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Computer/data entry skills.
Familiar with office equipment.
Filing and record maintenance capabilities.
Ability to look for ways to improve and promote quality.
Ability to prioritize.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.
Ability to recognize needs and concerns of people and maintain constructive interpersonal relationships.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure of deadlines, changes in schedules, and office routine.
