Louisiana Tech University, a member of Conference USA is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Athletics Director for Academics. Full time, 12-month position with benefits. Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Three years of experience working in a university athletic academic center preferred. The successful candidate will administer and monitor a comprehensive academic support program for student-athletes representing 16 NCAA Division 1 sport programs; oversee the day-to-day operations of the student-athlete resource center and its staff and coordinate academic advising of student-athletes. The candidate will serve as the liaison with campus academic offices and faculty; gather data and prepare academic reports on academic progress of all student-athletes. Excellent oral and written communication skills along with a working knowledge of NCAA regulations required.
