Job Title - Sample Maker
General
Responsibilities:
The Sample Maker is responsible for the sample production of all Evenflo product categories. This includes the cutting and sewing of all prototype samples and various product samples for Fashion and Sales. The Sample Maker is responsible for maintaining organization and inventory of fabric and sewing components used for samples and to assist with fabric inventory and library, development of swatch books and sample work orders.
Examples of Typical Activities:
Cut and sew prototype samples.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of sample room and storage facilities.
Dress and prepare samples for shipments.
Train others to perform basic sample making requirements.
Required Experience
Required Technical Competencies
Excellent Verbal Communication Skills.
Attention to detail
Ability to read and understand sewing instructions.
Desired Competencies
Commercial sewing experience and knowledge of sewing techniques, technology and manufacturing.
Understanding of sewing terminology.
Experience with commercial sewing equipment.
