We are Web 'n Retail, a music marketing and PR agency. Right now we have an internship position available! Our clients are independent labels and artists across all genres. Here you will be doing hands-on work that are required tasks for any product or service. Thus, an internship here will widen your appeal to any type of potential employer!
This isn't your typical internship! Here you will have the title of Project Coordinator to put on your resume. We offer a casual and learning environment that won't have you running errands. We have a casual dress code and we provide free lunch, snacks & beverages. You will learn while you work which will help give you the skills needed for your next venture!
You'll learn:
- How to create and send HTML based eblasts (without knowing html!)
- How to create and manage websites
- Creating, managing and engaging social network sites for our artists/clients to build a customer base
- Crucial database management and lead sourcing lead
- Viral Marketing (blogging)
- Viral PR (press postings)
- Traditional PR
- Press Release writing
- Copywriting
- Google keyword research methods
- Social Media for business
- SEO
- Video Marketing
- Music Licensing
Requirements:
- 7 hour workdays 2 or 3 days a week from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm
- Minimum commitment of 4 months
- Must like our CED (Chief Executive Dachshund)!
- Only those currently residing in the Los Angeles area should apply please.
This is a NON-PAID TRAINING INTERNSHIP. There is a small possibility of a paid position as we only promote to paid positions from our (already trained) intern pool. Currently those positions are filled, but you never know what the future will bring!Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
