Job Description:
This position is responsible for assisting the shop with administrative responsibilities.
Job
Responsibilities:
o Perform data entry of charges that need to be applied to a vehicle before it sells, and verify that information is accurately recorded.
o Maintain documentation, verification of invoices to ensure correct amount on the work orders compared to actual invoice cost
o Respond to department inquiries relating to status of parts and vehicle repair, provide quality service, and assist in resolving problems.
o Communicate with departments and management on daily basis to make sure all information is received and posted before a sale.
o Submit estimates via email to proper accounts.
o Maintain current knowledge of account contracts relating to posting.
o Record payroll information for shop employees.
o Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
o Perform other duties as assigned by management.
o May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
o High School Diploma or equivalent required.
o 1 - 3 years of clerical or administrative experience in automotive industry preferred.
o Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
o Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
o Good communication and organizational skills required.
o Basic computer software skills necessary.
o Must be able to use general office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, etc.).
o Good leadership skills required; must be able to lead and motivate people.
o Self managed and directed.
o Medium strength; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
o Stooping, bending, twisting, climbing stairs, pushing pulling, walking and reaching may be required for the completion of job duties.
o Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
o Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks, manual dexterity.
o Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.
Work Environment:
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. May be required to sit for long periods of time at a desk or a computer terminal with the use of calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday. Occasional exposure to high noise level.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
