Prominent financial software service provider is seeking to expand its connectivity development team.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who has significant Java server side, multithreading, and message based distributed systems experience. This is a New York based position, requiring a candidate with exceptional experience and academic qualifications or someone who has the aspiration to break into finance after five or more years of professional development experience.

The successful candidate will work closely with a small team of java developers, primarily focusing on the development, maintenance, and support of its electronic trading and prime brokerage related services.

Mandatory skills and
Experience:
Extensive hands-on Java-based multi-tiered and/or distributed enterprise application development experience
Multi-threaded java application
Strong object oriented design skills
Development experience on UNIX/MS environment
Minimum 5 years professional in software development field
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Hands on experience with FIX and/or SWIFT protocol.

Desirable skills and experience
Experience with Google GWT, Ajax, and Java Script
Knowledge of open source MVC frameworks like Struts and Tapestry
Web Services (XML/SOAP/WSDL) experience
Front office financial experience beneficial
Automated Unit and Integration test experience

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
