Responsibilities
Represent Vidant Health decision support for the Shared Services Company. Routine interaction with new business partners to establish reliable methodologies to be used to identify cost savings opportunities for the newly established company.
Full understanding of the cost allocation process and system.
Will require high level of professionalism, presentation skills, and complex critical thinking.
Ability to influence the operational side of the business to make change and implement targeted savings once identified.
Skill set required to articulate findings to Senior Leadership of Shared Services Company.
Political savvy to interact with new partners and voice opinion on potentially debatable issues.

Pricing Transparency database submissions as required by State. Responsibility may include pulling data and running required analyses to meet required goal. Provide information to various external agencies and professional organizations concerning fiscal operations.
Keep up to date on Pricing transparency rules, assist with the writing reports and submitting data for quarterly data submission. Implement new components as required and meet expected quarterly deadlines.
Coordinate with information systems and outside vendor to ensure data is submitted appropriately.
Communicate data submitted with leadership.

Participate as active member and teammate of the current decision support team.
Report writing.
Reconciliation of cost allocations and reimbursement.
Other Decision Support functions as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Four year college degree in Accounting with a minor in Computer Science Major: Accounting, Business Administration, Decision Science is required.
MBA and/or CPA desirable
Five years experience in accounting/business field within a hospital or industry required. An emphasis in computer application development preferred. Extensive knowledge of and active recent experience using the Eclipsys, EPSi, or other comparable decision support system required.
Critical thinking skill as well as presentation skills necessary.
One additional year of college education in accounting or business may be substituted for one year of required experience with a maximum substitution of two years.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
