Williams is seeking an Operations Technician to be part of our Moxa/Kemmerer District. This position will be filled in Green River, Rock Springs, Bridger Valley or Kemmerer Wyoming.

Responsibilities:
Perform preventive facility maintenance and work described under the job progression system/development plan for the operations technician job family
Responsible for the handling of natural gas as related to turbine and or reciprocating compression
Maintain and troubleshoot subsystems and ladder logic controls which include but not limited to: starting, stopping, safety shutdowns, and combustion controls
Operate and maintain natural gas well locations, meter stations, pipeline facilities, corrosion control and pipeline right-of-way.
Handle facility encroachment activities including pipe location, excavation, and inspection resulting from one-call notifications and/or direct calls

Qualifications:
Basic/Required
Understand safety as the utmost priority while demonstrating this priority on a daily basis
Posses a high school diploma or equivalent
Be willing to work after hours and on-call rotations, with some out of area travel required
Be willing to travel up to 25%
Posses excellent verbal and written communication skills
Have an intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and PC skills
Demonstrate the ability to work with landowners, contractors, and/or customers
Posses a valid state driving license with an excellent driving record
Demonstrate the ability to work in a team setting and as an individual with minimal supervision
Must be able to walk, bend, crawl, work in extreme heat, extreme cold, high noise, and enclosed spaces, while climbing ladders, and lifting items that weigh more than 50lbs
Preferred
Be eager to learn a wide variety of tasks to safely operate complicated natural gas facilities
Experience with Electronic Flow Measurement, Process Logic Controls, Separation, Dehydration, Piping, Valves and Pigging Facilities
Posses a two-year technical degree in diesel/diesel -electric, automotive, aircraft mechanics, and/or electronic instrumentation. Related work experience will be considered
Previously worked in and/or around the oil and gas industry
This position will be filled at a level commensurate with skills and experience
