Firmware Engineers

SanDisk Corporation needs Firmware Engineers in Milpitas, California to analyze, design, program, debug, troubleshoot and/or modify software for firmware (IC embedded code) applications. Conduct programming activities involving analog and digital hardware and software operating systems. Model algorithms of Flash Management layer. Analyze existing algorithms and develop new algorithms and data structures. Implement and optimize existing Flash Management components using C/C+
and assembly language. Implement unit-tests using Python language. Debug system on model simulation and hardware.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related technical field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 years of work experience in a Firmware Engineer-related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Utilizing hardware debugging tools including JTAG, Protocol Analyzer, and MetaWare Debugger to analyze, debug and profile implemented system; 2) Modeling and analysis of Flash Management algorithms and data structures to analyze design of system components, prove design, and estimate its complexity and effect on the performance of the product and its endurance by implement simplified algorithm in C+
behavioral model; 3) Utilizing C/C+
and assembly language to implement Flash Management components; 4) Unit-tests using Python language for implemented system; and 5) Embedded Real Time operating systems and flash memory knowledge; and 6) Applied mathematics, probability theory and statistics. Experience may be gained concurrently.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
