Solidworks Sales Engineer Full Time Permanent position
Solidworks Sales Engineer DOE - 80K +
Key
Responsibilities:
Contact and interact with utility and refuel floor professionals to evaluate customer technical requirements for outage support equipment. Interface with customer procurement, refuel floor professionals, and engineering resources.
Coordinate internal activities within our engineering team to develop the required details and technical interface, to provide solutions to customer requirements.
Prepare proposals both in response to customer RFQs and unsolicited.
Manage critical paths of technical activities to achieve customer orders.
Review and enter customer contracts and orders with all necessary requirements, documentation, and technical details for successful manufacturing.
Interface with customer technical staff to ensure technical requirements and boundary conditions are understood and properly communicated. Address technical product application issues and warranty issues with customers and staff.
Develop and foster relationships with customers for new sales, follow up on all leads and opportunities.
Professionally represent company at trade technical meetings and events.
Other duties as assigned by the division Vice President.
The ideal candidate will possess:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling technical/engineered products. Experience with analyzing, interpreting and organizing data.
Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
SolidWorks or 3D solid modeling experience.
Ability to travel independently (20-25% travel mostly domestic), schedule appointments, and assist in supporting outage installation of equipment.
