Roles and
Responsibilities:
Analyze RFP/RFQ/RFI documents to define customer requirements. Conduct customer site surveys if required to support requirements definition.
Research, develop and recommend Audio/Video designs to provide new and existing government customers with best value solutions.
Support the pricing and proposal process by providing the required equipment list, estimated engineering & installation hours, and any related travel plan estimates needed to deliver the proposed solution.
Verify and revise existing engineering designs and/or develops new engineering designs, as required to address customer requirements.
Respond and resolve inquiries from customers via the VTC technical support hotline
Perform Audio/Video implementation staging activities to include receiving, inventory, and labeling the equipment.
Develop configuration file, load, and test the equipment for projects.
Perform the installation function on small projects or manage the installation through subcontractors or technicians during the implementation phase of all VTC equipment at the customer sites.
Perform acceptance test on site to ensure the delivery of the Audio and Video implementation is functioning properly.
Troubleshoot technical issues in the delivery of multi-vendor technical solutions at customer locations.
Travel to other LGS Locations or Customer Sites as necessary
Understand and adhere to all LGS Ethical and Compliance policies
Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to LGS EH&S policies and procedures
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Basic
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
4-6 years related experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required
Demonstrated experience of Audio and Video equipment and design
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Customer interface experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (US citizenship is a prerequisite)
