Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field such as Business Administration, Marketing or Communications and one year of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree and 3 years of relevant experience; OR 5 years of experience in HR and/or employee benefits administration.
Working knowledge of applicable HR laws and regulations, including Workers' Compensation, Family Medical Leave and COBRA. Experience in creating and maintaining spreadsheets and database programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel and Access). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be detail oriented.
The Human Resources Administrator II will serve as the initial point of contact for employee benefit inquiries. In addition, this position processes disability and workers compensation claims. The incumbent will:
Advise employees on eligibility, coverage, enrollment processing, claim processing, filing and recordkeeping for the benefits offered by HRI
Process benefit enrollments, changes, and claims, prepare benefit billings and interface with insurance carriers, and generate reports
Process disability and workers compensation claims and leaves, interfacing between employees and vendors as needed, keeping employees informed of their rights and responsibilities, and guiding employees through the claims process
Prepare personnel action forms and track employee status
Monitor employee leave accruals
Assist senior level HR staff with contract renewals by preparing cost analyses and utilization reports
Draft Tips and Tools for Employee Communications
Other related duties as assigned.
Grant funded. Management/Confidential position.
Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
