This position is located in the Directorate of Public Health Services, Naval Health Clinic Hawaii and/or the Marine Corps Base of Kaneohe Bay.

Insure that preventive, diagnostic and rehabilitative audiological services are provided for all levels of personnel.
Prevention of occupational hearing loss through noise measurement, hearing evaluation, hearing protection and education.
Clinical identification, quantification and assessment of hearing disorders.
Remediation of communication impairments through hearing aids and aural rehabilitation.
Determination of communicative fitness for duty.
Administration of the Hearing Conservation Program.
Evaluation of hearing loss compensation claims.
Basic Requirements
Degree: For audiologist positions, master's degree that included 18 semester hours in the field of audiology with approved clinical practice. Failure to possess this factor WILL result in an ineligible rating. Possession of the factor must be verifiable via submitting a copy of your transcripts.
POSITIVE EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: This position has a Positive Education Requirement. Preparing and conducting hearing conservation educational programs.
Coordinating the fitting and dispensing of individual hearing protective devices.

Educating hearing impaired persons with respect to the nature of their communication deficit.
