Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for a Technical Product Manager to join our organization. In this role, the individual will join the TPM team which manages our products lifecycle's from release to obsolescence using various data sources as a measure of product quality (such as warranty costs, customer complaints and installation failures). Specifically, the team help drive continual improvement in the design, manufacturing, delivering, and support of Waters Products. This group works closely with many area of the business including Global Service Support, Product Assurance, MS Quality, Marketing and Design/Development.
Review, analyze, and present data regarding the quality of products
Chair Product Meetings ensuring action items are completed in a timely manner
Manage projects to address issues on manufactured products
Provide consultation during product development focusing on continual improvement
Contribute to overall risk assessment of development products (FMEA, PPA)
Perform other required activities as directed per the Instrument Development Process
Provide input during evaluation of Instrument Returns Requests
Provide input as requested by the Product Safety Committee
Actively review and provide input for internal and field documentation
Responsibility for product quality assessment, arranging travel, accommodation, and accounting for all expenditure in relation to the role, as deemed necessary and according to the company policies in force.
Perform any other actions deemed appropriate by the departmental line manager
Bachelors Degree in Science or related field of study
Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical/quality related position which is driving continual improvement in the design, manufacturing, delivering, and support of scientific instrumentation, biotechnology or medical devices
A working knowledge of Project Management, quality principles, and Process Improvement
Strong communication and presentation skills
Technical product management, quality principles, project managementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
