## Description
_SUMMARY OF POSITION_:
Load, unload, move, store, receive, package or ship a variety of materials, parts or products. Depending on the assigned area, incumbent may perform only the essential functions listed below that apply to that area.
_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS_:
Read, understand and follow standard process instructions (SPI's, SRI's, PD's etc.) and drawings.
Operate hand and forklift trucks to move materials as required.
Load and unload trucks with outgoing or incoming shipments.
Check identification of materials; report shortages or damaged materials.
Move materials from/to storage or designated areas.
Fill orders from storage areas and prepare for shipment to customers.
Verify part numbers and amounts against shipping or receiving paperwork.
Fabricate boxes and pallets for shipments.
Complete required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Enter data on material received/shipped into computer systems (company and/or carrier). Print shippers and reports as required.
Prepare or review documentation for international shipment.
Enter data and print reports in Excel and Access databases.
Participate in cycle count task and investigation of discrepancies.
Follow and meet all safety and quality procedures and standards.
Deliver supplies and materials to production and service lines; ensure adequate and properly identified materials and documentation to maintain flow.
Handle data entry to document internal movement of materials in the system; ensure that all product moved is identified by part number.
Find the root cause and implement correction of problem receipts, orders, or inventory discrepancies.
Communicate clearly with other departments both inside and outside the facility.
Assist in the documentation of processes.
Provide guidance and direction to other Material Handlers. Assist with their training.
## Qualifications
Education required/ preferred:
High School or equivalent

Experience:
1 to 2 years of experience to gain sufficient skill to perform the essential functions of the position within quality and quantity standards.
Preferred Skills/
Qualifications:
Perform the basic functions of arithmetic and algebra; add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure; compute ratio, rate and percent; calculate variables and formulas; Draw and interpret bar graphs; read blueprints, (RI only: knowledge of GDT). Perform reading, writing and speaking at a basic level. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations. General computer skills.
Skills/Competencies:
Forklift certification. Capable of performing the SPI's, SRI's, PD's, etc. for the area to which the incumbent is assigned within quality and quantity standards. See separate list of SPI's, SRI', PD's, etc. Familiarity with regulatory/GMP requirements related to Shipping/Receiving functions.
Other Skills:
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Demonstrate initiative and ability to perform as part of a team.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
